KenolKobil, Crowne Berger and Eveready East Africa gained 9.70, 8.86 and 8.33 percent at the price of 14.70, 86.00 and 1.30 shillings per share respectively.
Mumias Sugar Company was the fifth top gainer of the day with 7.14 percent at the price of 0.75 shillings per share.
The top loser of the day was Kapchorua Tea Kenya with a loss of 9.74 percent at the 69.50 shillings per share followed by Umeme with a loss of 7.51 percent at the price of 8.00 shillings per share.
Uchumi Supermarket, Sameer Africa and BOC Kenya lost 6.67, 6.25 and 4.29 percent at the price of 0.70, 2.25 and 78.00 shillings per share respectively.
The top mover of the day was KenolKobil after selling 27.89 million shares followed by Safaricom PLC who sold 12.33 million shares.
Equity Group sold 3.08 million shares while Mumias Sugar Company and Kenya Power and Lighting Company sold 435,700 and 367,400 shares respectively.
