The top gainer of the day at Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) was Flame Tree Group with 9.68 percent at the price of 3.40 shillings per share followed by Mumias Sugar Company who gained 9.09 percent at the price of 0.60 shillings per share.
Liberty Kenya, Home Afrika, and Car and General (K) gained 7.20, 6.67 and 5.56 percent at the price of 13.40, 0.80 and 19.00 shillings per share respectively.
Trans-Century and Uchumi Supermarkets were first and second top losers at 9.86 and 5.88 percent at the price of 3.05 and 0.80 shillings per share.
Stanlib Fahari Income –REIT, Kenya Airways and CIC Insurance Group lost 5.00, 4.45 and 2.47 percent at the price of 9.50, 11.80 and 3.95 shillings per share respectively.
Safaricom PLC was the top mover of the day after selling 4.29 million shares. On Monday, Safaricom was the only stock that traded more than 1 million shares.
Kenya Power and Lighting Company and Kenya Electricity Generating Company sold 398,100 and 359,300 shares while Kenya Commercial Bank and Home Afrika sold 298,000 and 262,200 shares respectively.
