Japanese passport is now the most powerful on the planet according to a report published by Henley Passport Index Report.
According to the report, Japanese citizens can now travel to 190 destinations around the world ahead of Singapore which comes in second with 189 destinations.
Germany which had topped the list at the beginning of 2018, is now in the third position with its passport capable of guaranteeing one 188 destinations, tying in the same position with France and South Korea.
The United States of America and the United Kingdom, both with visa-free or visa-on-arrival requirements have access to 186 destinations, placing them as the fifth most powerful passports in the world.

In Africa, Seychelles’’ passport is the most powerful in the continent. With this passport, one can access 137 countries in the world including China, Germany, and France. Seychelles is one of the few countries in the world that allows all visitors to cross its borders without visas.
Mauritius’ passport in the second most powerful in Africa, allowing holders to access at least 131 countries around the world. Mauritius is one of the best countries with calm visa regulations.
South Africa has the third most powerful visa in Africa with access to 98 countries. South Africa’s ranking dropped after being the most powerful on 2007 and 2009.
