KenolKobil was the top mover of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) after selling 373.46 million shares, the highest so far this year.
The second top mover was Safaricom Plc who sold 4.29 million shares followed by Equity Group with 3.18 million shares.
Kenya Commercial Bank and Mumias Sugar Company sold 1.85 million and 634,000 shares respectively during the session on Tuesday.
Trans-Century was the top loser of the day with 9.72 percent loss at the price of 3.25 shillings per share followed by Diamond Trust Bank with a loss of 8.81 percent at the price of 145.00 shillings per share.
WPP ScanGroup, Liberty Kenya and Limuru Tea Company lost 6.35, 5.30 and 3.70 percent at the price of 14.00, 12.50 and 520.00 shillings per share respectively.
The top gainer of the day was Kapchorua Tea Kenya with 9.70 percent at the price of 73.50 shillings per share followed by Olympia Capital with 7.89 percent at the price of 2.05 shillings per share.
Uchumi Supermarket, National Bank of Kenya and Williamson Tea Kenya gained 7.69, 4.17 and 3.55 percent at the price of 0.70, 5.00 and 146.00 shillings per share respectively.
