Kitale residents are paying more for a 138-kilogram bag of carrots which is retailing at 5,600 shillings as compared to those in Isiolo where the market price is 2,000 shillings.
In Mombasa, the market price for a 138-kilogram bag of carrots is 4,800, 3,500 shillings in Nairobi, 3,000 shillings in Nakuru and Kakamega, 2,600 shillings in Eldoret and 2,500 shillings in Kisumu.
A 64-kilogram bag of Tomatoes is being sold at 8,000 shillings in Kisumu, 7,500 shillings in Isiolo, 6,500 shillings in Eldoret, 5,200 shillings in Nairobi and Kakamega and 4,500 shillings in Mombasa and 4,000 shillings in Nakuru and Kitale.
A 142-kilogram bag of Spring Onions is retailing highest in Kakamega at 5,500 shillings and lowest in Eldoret at 1,300 shillings.
