The much-awaited Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) has been released by the Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed.
A total of 315 candidates scored grade A in 2018 from 142 As that were recorded in 2017. a total of 660,204 candidates sat their 2018 KCSE this year.
Of the total number, 338,628 were male while 321,576 were female with a total of 16 counties recording a higher number of female candidates as compared to male candidates.
