BK Group Rules The Top Gainers’ Table on Thursday

BK Group was the top gainer of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange after being in the red for three days. The counter gained 9.98 percent at the price of 30.85 shillings per share.

Nairobi Business Ventures and HF Group gained 9.89 and 9.62 percent at the price of 1.00 and 6.84 shillings per share respectively.

Eveready East Africa and Sameer Africa gained 8.77 and 7.69 percent at the price of 1.24 and 2.10 shillings per share respectively.

Trans-Century was the top loser of the day with 10.00 percent at the price of 3.15 shillings per share followed by Williamson Tea Kenya with 7.50 percent at the price of 148.00 shillings per share.

Kenya Airways, Uchumi Supermarket, and Kenya Electricity Generating Company lost 7.37, 3.85 and 3.56 percent at the price of 8.30, 0.75 and 6.50 shillings per share respectively.

Safaricom is still ruling the top movers’ table having sold 12.16 million shares followed by Equity Group with a volume of 1.91 million shares.

Kenya Power and Lighting sold 1.22 million shares while Kenya Commercial Bank and Barclays Bank of Kenya sold 521,800 and 510,900 shares respectively.
