East African Portland Cement Top Laggard of the Day at the NSE

The East African Portland Cement was the top loser of the day during the session on Wednesday with 9.92 percent at the price of 16.80 shillings per share.

Limuru Tea and Flame Tree Group lost 9.59 and 9.41 percent at the price of 450.00 and 2.60 shillings per share respectively. Nation Media Group and Nairobi Business Ventures lost 4.13 and 4.03 percent at the price of 58.00 and 0.95 shillings per share respectively.

HF Group was the top gainer of the day with 6.62 percent at the price of 4.35 shillings per share followed by Bamburi Cement who gained 5.93 percent at the price of 125.00 shillings per share.

Liberty Kenya, BAT Kenya and Carbacid Investments gained 5.42, 3.81 and 2.00 percent at the price of 10.50, 545.00 and 9.18 shillings per share respectively.

Safaricom moved 8.05 million shares making it the top mover of the day followed by Equity Group who sold 2.10 million shares.

Barclays Bank and Co-operative Bank sold 2.08 and 1.51 million shares respectively while KCB Group sold 747,700 shares.
