The top gainer of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange during the session on Monday was Home Afrika with 10.00 percent at the price of 0.55 shillings per share.
Sameer Africa and Olympia Capital gained 8.50 and 8.23 percent at the price of 2.17 and 2.50 shillings per share respectively.
Mumias Sugar Company and Stanlib Fahari Income – REIT gained 6.67 and 2.37 percent at the price of 0.48 and 9.50 shillings per share respectively.
Umeme was the top loser of the day with 7.86 percent at the price of 7.50 shillings per share followed by Standard Group with a loss of 7.51 percent at the price of 24 shillings per share.
Express, Longhorn Publishers and Kenya Power and Lighting lost 6.67, 6.25 and 4.75 percent at the price of 7.00, 6.00 and 4.01 shillings per share respectively.
The top mover of the day was Equity Group who moved 2.36 million shares followed by Safaricom with 1.27 million shares during the session.
Carbacid Investments and Kenya Commercial Bank sold 762,300 and 661,300 shares while Co-operative Bank of Kenya sold 370,800 shares.
