BOC Kenya kicks off the Week as Top Gainer of the Day

The top gainer of the day at the NSE on Monday was BOC Kenya with 9.68 percent at the price of 68.00 shillings per share followed by Home Afrika with 8.77 percent at the price of 0.62 shillings per share.

Trans-Century, Mumias Sugar Company, and Nairobi Business Ventures gained 7.44, 6.25 and 5.26 percent at the price of 3.90, 0.34 and 1.00 shillings per share respectively.

The top loser of the day was Standard Group with 10.00 percent at the price of 22.50 shillings per share followed by Umeme with a loss of 8.54 percent at the price of 7.50 shillings per share.

Total Kenya and Stanlib Fahari Income – REIT lost 6.90 and 5.35 percent at the price of 27.00 and 8.50 shillings per share while Uchumi Supermarket lost 5.26 percent at the price of 0.36 shillings per share.

Safaricom was the top mover of the day after selling 2.75 million shares followed by Equity Group with 1.99 million shares.

Mumias Sugar Company and KCB Group sold 1.59 and 1.29 million shares respectively while WPP ScanGroup sold 447,500 shares.
