Now, how do you arrange your fridge?
Are you among those who come from the grocery and just stuff your fridge without any order whatsoever? I used to be like that.
Here is what you should do:
- Put your fruits to the low humidity drawer. Fruits are always better in areas with low humidity.
- Store your meat in the coldest part/drawer. Some call it the freezer. The freezer will lock out any existence of microorganisms and your meat will never go bad. Store your milk and eggs in this part too. Many people put their milk at the door forgetting that the door is one of the warmest parts of your fridge.
- Where do you place your vegetables? In the high humidity areas. Vegetables do well with extra moisture.
- Place drinks on the door, unless you want them to ice cold but the door is the perfect place for them.
- There are always leftovers and ready-to-eat foods. Store them in the middle or top shelf.
