President Uhuru Kenyatta has reappointed Patrick Njoroge as the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) governor for another term of 4 years.
Mr. Njoroge’s term had come to an end and all indication of being reappointed was clear especially after he announced the rollout of the new generational banknotes.
President Uhuru Kenyatta also extended by four years the tenure of CBK’s deputy governor Sheila M’Mbijjewe who was expected to leave office alongside her boss.
