Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso is dead. Laboso has died at Nairobi Hospital on the afternoon of 29th July following a long battle with cancer.
Joyce Laboso was the First Female Governor of Bomet after she beat Isaac Ruto. Laboso was serving her first term as the Governor of Bomet.
Laboso has died at 58 years of age a few weeks after coming back to Kenya from India where she was receiving treatment.
Laboso’s death has come a few hours after Nairobi Hospital released a statement restricting visitors as she had been admitted in the Intensive Care Unit.
