Liberty Kenya was the top gainer of the day on Wednesday with 9.80 percent at the price of 11.20 shillings per share followed by HF Group with 7.88 percent at the price of 4.38 shillings per share.
Stanlib Fahari Income –REIT, Kapchorua Tea Kenya, and CIC Insurance Group gained 6.65, 3.19 and 2.56 percent at the price of 9.30, 89.00 and 3.60 shillings per share respectively.
Umeme was the top loser of the day with 9.86 percent followed by Olympia Capital and Standard Group with a loss of 9.84 and 9.83 percent respectively.
Stanbic Holdings and Express lost 8.16 and 6.45 percent at the price of 90.00 and 5.80 shillings per share respectively.
Equity Group carried the day as the top mover of the day upon moving 10.42 million shares followed by Safaricom with 2.98 million shares.
Kenya Electricity Generating Company, Home Afrika and WPP ScanGroup sold 748,500, 406,300 and 296,600 shares respectively.
