Tusker Mattresses, popular as Tusky supermarkets, across its branch network will this weekend, beginning on 12th to 14th July, host an exclusive foodstuff mega sale, across all its branch network.
The mid-month sale with discounts valued over 100 million shillings will run from Friday to Sunday and has been planned to celebrate Tuskys customers for their continued support.
The Tuskys sale will precede the firm’s Annual Mega sale set to start next week.
“The customer reward program, this weekend, is organized in conjunction with Tusky’s suppliers and will cover a range of food items which will include cooking oil, rice, wheat, and maize flour and meat products,” Tusker Mattresses Group CEO Dan Githua said.
Dan announced the TUSKYS BIG FIVE foodstuff sale saying the firm will also be launching Tuskys Annual Mega Sale that will run from 20th July to10th September.
“These five food items account for up to 40 percent of our customers’ shopping basket and discounting them aggressively is but one of our initiatives to extend value for money and gratitude to our loyal customers,” Githua noted.
The Big Five Mega Sale is expected to feature high-value items such as cookers, washing machines, TVs and furniture among others with up to 50% of discounts.
Tuskys is one of the supermarkets that have survived a tough economic environment at a time when its predecessors have bowed out after making gigantic losses.
Supermarkets that have bowed out include the legend, Nakumatt supermarket, Ukwala, Uchumi which is currently struggling and Choppies supermarket that has bowed from the pressure.
Tuskys prides of outlets in major cities in the country, the CBD and many other outlets in the outskirts of the Capital.
