Renown African reggae artist Alpha Blondy will be performing at the Koroga Festival that is set to begin on September 21-22.
The Ivorian singer, whose real name is Seydou Kone will be entertaining his fans during the festival that is set to take place at Two Rivers Mall, Nairobi.
Alpha Blondy who boasts performing for international audiences has several singles and up to fifteen albums to his name with his most common songs being; Sweet Fanta Diallo, Jerusalem, Peace in Liberia and Brigadier Sabari.
Blondy has an outstanding talent and can sing in English, French, and Dioula.
The Koroga Festival is an annual event where people get to celebrate African Music, food, art, and fashion.
It is an opportune moment for the Kenyan talents to out show their talents and to share the same stage with established artistes from Kenya and internationally.
On the first day of the event, that is on the 21st of September, the Kenyan artistes will take over the stage and entertain their audiences.
The second day will have several activities taking place where there will be a family event, then artistes across the continent will line up to take the stage including the reggae legend, Alpha Blondy.
This will be the 27th edition of the festival. The event will start at 2.00 pm on Saturday and run to 11.59 pm on Saturday.
This year’s event will take place at Two Rivers Mall, with advance tickets available online on ticket sasa.
Tickets will go at 500 shillings for the first day, and 1500 shillings for the final day. Booking for a team of 5 and 10 is also available and relatively cheaper.
