Machines and computers have become part and parcel of human existence, and have at the same time replaced or completely taken over processes that are normally done by humans.

AI is the most prevalent system adopted in the digital world, indicating that computerized systems are the future of human-related tasks.

- Machine/Computer learning – Computer is able to work or start an action without being programmed, perform a task and complete it without intervention by humans.
- Computer vision- Here, computers are made to see, capture and analyze information using cameras, perform an analog to digital conversion and even process digital signals. They are compared to human eye sights but are more advanced as they can see through the walls or beyond the local setting. A good example is a Virtual reality, where goggles are used and one can see even 1000 miles away from where they are.
- Natural Language Processing (NLP)-human language is processed by a computer program, detected, texts translated, analyzed and with the system also doing speech recognition.
- Robotics-Robots have replaced several human tasks and have even rendered most people (especially those with blue-collar jobs) jobless. Robots are able to work in adverse environments, without getting fatigued, performing hefty tasks with ease and speed. Scientists are currently working on programming robots to fit into the social setting and interact closely with humans. With the rate at which the robots are made, they might take over the world in the years to come, and the manufacturers might be unable to gain control over them.
- Self-driven cars(Autonomous cars)-Automobiles are computerized and made to drive themselves, maintain a certain lane on the road and also programmed to avoid any obstruction on or by the roadside. This is an effort to reduce accidents, but at the same time, it would be impossible to hold anyone accountable in case an accident happens.

In healthcare for example, computer systems are set to answer questions, set an appointment and checkup dates, remind patients when to take their drugs, remind nurses on when to attend to certain patients.
In business and finance; Analyzation of data, determination or prediction of future risks and providing an immediate response to customers’ inquiries.
AI is efficient in education; making grading systems, adapting to students’ needs, and reducing the taskforce in the field.
In manufacturing, robots have taken over, enabling quick and easy production activities, at the same time reducing risks such as accidents that would occur when humans are involved.
- Mobile internet.
The use of internet-enabled cell phones has blatantly become a parcel of human life. From kids to adults, lacking an internet-enabled cell phone is like living in an alien world, where you will have no idea of what humans around you are doing or are planning to do.
Currently, there are more than 2.7 billion smartphone users in the world, a number that is projected to double in the next five years.
- Wireless Power Transmission (WPT)
Electrical energy can be transmitted without the usage of wires as physical links. This is done through the electrical field, magnetic field, an electromagnetic field.
Power is transmitted from the power source, transferred through space to the receiver, which converts the current back to electrical energy and uses it.
It is safer and convenient in situations where wires can be hazardous or impossible to use.
The latest innovation involves sharing of power among smartphones through the use of mobile apps and Bluetooth.
- Blockchain technology
This is a collection of data (Growing a list of records/digital ledger) that are in form interconnected blocks, in a chronological order using cryptography.
Blockchain can be used to record anything of value (not just financial transactions) and can exist without cryptocurrencies.
Every member of the network is able to see the block, enhancing trust between members and has limitless potential in all kinds of applications, making it more reliable.
- 5G network.
The 5G network is supposed to take over from the 4G network. It is said to be faster and efficient than the 4G network.
Theoretically, tech experts project its speed to be 100 times faster than the 4G network-10 gigabytes per second against 4G’s 100 megabytes per second.
It is quite obvious that the world will expect a 6G network, later on, owing to the rate at which technology is advancing and new changes are being adopted.
Cloud
Internet-enabled devices have the cloud system, that has made it easier to store, manage and process data, ensuring security and ease of access from any device. Google’s Gmail is one of the contributors to the tech world.
