They say if you can survive in Kenya right now, then you can survive anywhere in the world. Kenya is now a tough place to ever want to live. It is like those in government are trying so hard to kill us but we have literally refused to die.
The government has kept on making merry that the economy is doing fine because the “GDP” is thriving. As the Governor of the Central Bank of Kenya Patrick Njoroge puts it, “we have GDP numbers, yes but people cannot eat GDP. At the end of the day, people want jobs and real developments. At the end of the day, people want food on the table.”
A time is coming and is already here where traders will have what to sell but nobody to sell to, where buyers will have the need to want to buy but with no means to. A time is coming when inflation will spiral so high that the real “man-eat-man” phrase will be actualized.

Dear Kenyans, be warned. The next years are going to be hell in terms of the economy. You are going to find it rough (that is if you are yet to start feeling it). It is time you start cutting down on your expenses if you are “already living your life.” Cut down on the rent you are paying, the school fees, and the nature of your car and reduce on merrymaking. The future is going to be rough and tough.
With the current economy, buy only what you need the most and save as much as you can. Do not buy assets that will be hard to convert cash when you need it. In fact, those rushing to invest in properties, be careful because soon, there will be nowhere to turn.
It is time to invest the little you have. Invest in small businesses that will help you deal with basic needs such as food and clothing. Avoid debts at all costs. If you do not have cash for that thing that you need, then do not do it. Wait until such a time that you will have the cash. Cut down on your borrowing.
Dear Kenyans, do not be lied to; that the economy will ‘soon’ recover. The economy won’t recover because the two surgeons at the top are also in the ICU and they have no idea what is either ailing them or the economy.
The National Treasury itself is broke. The government is cutting down on its own budget and soon, cash will stop flowing from the top. Only looters and plunders will have days to make merry but not you. You have been warned.
