The Nairobi Hospital has named a new board of 8 directors, but, wait for it, all are men.
The 8 directors are:
- Dr. Wilfred Irungu Ndirangu
- Dr. Chris Buchage
- Dr. Stephen Ochiel
- Dr. Victor Opiyo
- Mr. Charles Kariuki Wambugu
- Eng. Maxwel Odongo
- Mr. Robert Shaw
- Amb. Charles Amira
Kenyans are not impressed by the decision of the Nairobi Hospital to appoint only men to its board.
“Are there no women who can sit on the Nairobi Hospital board?” One Kenyan asked.
The appointment at the Nairobi Hospital comes at a time of the BBI Report debate that is proposing for equal opportunities for women as well as men.
