Total equity turnover rose by 159.16 percent to close at USD 6.25 million, an equivalent to 640.9 million shillings compared to Monday’s turnover of USD 2.41 million, an equivalent of 247.3 million shillings.
NSE 20 edged down by 0.20 percent while NASI edged up by 0.28 percent to close at 2,635.43 and 158.90 respectively.
Foreign investors assumed a net selling position by accounting for 55.4 percent of total market purchases and 64.0 percent of total market sales.
