Here Is A List Of Top 10 KCSE 2019 Candidates

The Cabinet Secretary for Education Prof. George Magoha released the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, three days earlier than the previous year’s results.

This year, CS Magoha noted there was an improvement compared to last year as out of the more than 600,000 students who sat for KCSE 2019, 125,746 of them managed to get a mean grade of C+ that is required to join the university on government sponsorship.

51 percent of the candidates who sat this year’s KCSE were male while 49 percent were female, with 17 counties producing more female candidates than males.

The top candidate in the 2019 KCSE results is Tony of Kapsabet Boys High School who scored an A (PLAIN) of 87.159 points.

Tony was closely followed by Barasa Maryanne Njeri of Kenya High School and David Odhiambo of Kapsabet Boys high School who scored 87.087 points and 87.080 points respectively.
