The High Court in Kenya has suspended all flights from China from landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) over fears of the deadly Coronavirus.
The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) had moved to court seeking the barring of all flights from China citing the possibility of Corona Virus coming to Kenya as a result.
The ruling comes after an uproar from Kenyans when a plane carrying 239 passengers landed at JKIA. The 239 passengers were then cleared and allowed into the country with the instructions that they were to quarantine themselves.
On Thursday, Members of Parliament called on the government to immediately suspend flights from China and sto gambling with the lives of Kenyans.
