Well, Shridhar Chillal, from Maharashtra, India is the man with the longest nails in the world according to the Guinness World Record. The total length of his nails on the left hand adds up to 909.6 centimeters.
Shridhar Chillal stopped cutting his fingernails in 1952 and has been growing them for over 60 years. His thumbnail is the longest at 197.8 centimeters.
According to the man, the nails have not been comfortable with him. He is not able to sleep very well and has to wake up every half hour to move his hand to the other side of his bed as his nails are extremely fragile. With the nails, he can’t do anything apart from sitting around.
The man is now 80 years old and hopes to cut his nails so that they can be preserved at a museum.
