The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has arrested three suspects in Ngara, Nairobi on suspicion of hacking into NTSA and TIMS databases and issuing fake documents to Kenyans.
Detectives found two Kenyan men trying to break into the National Transport And Safety Authority (NTSA) and the TIMS online portals. The suspects have been identified as Michael Onyango Oduor aged 54 and Sylvester Onyango aged 30 and are now under lawful custody.
During the raid, a total of 1.1 million shillings in cash, 100 US Dollars, three motor vehicles and fiber laser cutting machines that they were using to cut number plates were recovered.
Earlier today, a team of Digital Forensic Experts and Serious Crime Unit detectives working on intelligence raided an office in Ngara within Nairobi County.

DCI also raided the NTSA offices and arrested a call center employee- Antony Rugut Korir who was assisting the hackers to access the NTSA network remotely. Korir had connected a Local Area Network turtle gadget; a covert system administration and pen-testing tool that was providing stealth remote access to the suspects.
