A decline in air passenger numbers within Kenya has informed a decision by local airline, Jambojet to reduce its flight frequencies to all local destinations.
According to the low cost airline, the outbreak of Covid-19 in Kenya has greatly affected its flight frequencies with people choosing to stay home and minimize travelling.
“We have reduced our flight frequencies to all local destinations effective 20th March 2020,” said Jambojet in a statement
Here are the new flight frequencies as provided by Jambojet:
- Mombasa – 28 weekly flights
- Malindi – 10 weekly flights
- Ukunda – 7 weekly flights
- Kisumu – 13 weekly flights
- Eldoret – 13 weekly flights
According to the low-cost airline, all affected passengers have been contacted and updates to their flight schedule communicated.
“We sincerely regret the inconvenience this will cause,” the airline continues to say.
