Kenya Now Has 25 Confirmed Coronavirus Cases As 9 More Test Positive

“Kenya now has a confirmed 25 cases of coronavirus (COVID-19),” the Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe has announced.

“Kenya is following up 745 cases of people who came into contact with the 25  positive coronavirus cases,” CS Mutahi Kagwe has said.

“94 people have been released from Mbagathi after completing their 14-period of quarantine and still testing negative,” CS Mutahi Kagwe has said.

The Health CS who has noted that Kenyans are outrightly indisciplined and are not making it easy in containing coronavirus.

CS Mutahi Kagwe has also thanked businessman Jack Ma for donating 25,000 testing kits saying the kits will go a long way in combating the virus that has so far been confirmed in 25 people in Kenya.

CS Mutahi Kagwe has also highlighted the following counties as red zones of the coronavirus:

  1. Nairobi
  2. Mombasa
  3. Kilifi
  4. Kwale

Kenya has not reported any deaths due to coronavirus and has two aged people out of the 25 confirmed cases.
