List Of Cases Of Kenyans Intentionally Spreading Coronavirus

UON COVID-19 Kenyans

Are Kenyans intentionally infecting each other with coronavirus? It is a sad realization being driven by previous cases where those asked to self-quarantine have instead gone out to events, endangering the lives of the whole nation.

The cases of individuals who have carelessly gone out to spread coronavirus in Kenya have done so without thinking of the families of these individuals or their lack of financial capability.

What drives a man to want to spread a deadly virus to his brethren, what consolation is there when those suffering are in magnitudes, Is it ignorance or sheer malice?

The only lesson being derived from the individuals that tested positive for coronavirus or that came from foreign countries battling the illness and defied orders to self-quarantine is that our problem as a country is bigger than coronavirus.

A look at the leaders, the nun and the priest that acted as carriers of coronavirus in Kenya and irresponsibly spread it out to poor Kenyans.

The Kilifi Deputy Governor Gideon Saburi

The Kilifi deputy governor Gideon Saburi travelled back from Germany and as a leader, he was well aware of the requirement to self-quarantine for 14 days.

The Kilifi DG was even given a month’s leave by Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi to ensure he had not been infected with coronavirus on his travel to Germany which had been hit.

The Kilifi DG defied the month leave and the Ministry of Health’s requirement to self-quarantine and instead went on with his official duties placing the lives of all county officials and their families at risk.

The Kilifi DG exposed all the police officers he came into contact with which now has 13 of them placed in isolation including the Mtwapa Deputy OCS who is already symptomatic.

The Kilifi DG attended weddings and funerals at the time he was supposed to be in quarantine and so the number of those infected considering as a public figure he is bound to attract crowds around him can only be imagined.

The Nun And The Priest Who Refused To Quarantine

The Nun who arrived from Spain travelled to Makueni where she would have been expected to self-quarantine but she did not.

On arrival at Makueni, the nun went around her duties interacting with oblivious Kenyans who for their stubborn nature could not heed the call to stay at home.

It is after nine days of the Nun meandering in Makueni that authorities got wind of her and took her into forced quarantine.

The catholic priest flew into Kenya from Rome, Italy which was already badly hit by a coronavirus, and was expected to go into self-quarantine.

The priest disregarded the advisory to go on self-quarantine and said he had God despite having travelled from Italy, an epicentre of coronavirus where most deaths have been reported.

The catholic priest presided over mass and even gave eucharist to the congregants who were oblivious of the danger looming.

The catholic priest went further to attend funerals and even stay for the night vigil knowingly he had travelled from a country that was not only reporting cases of coronavirus but deaths.

The Three Kakamega County Official From Italy

The three Kakamega County officials arrived from Italy which was reporting coronavirus deaths at the time and disregarded the order to self-quarantine.

The three Kakamega County Officials mingled freely with residents in the County and the County officials exposing them to the risk of infection of coronavirus.

The three Kakamega officials were only picked and forced into isolation yesterday, who knows how many they interacted with, in their sheer display of ignorance?

Health Cabinet Secretary warned us, as Kenyans, that the second week after having reported the first cases of coronavirus will determine how hard the country will have been hit.

Kenyans have been urged to stay indoors but in their outright show of ignorance, they continue to aimlessly roam and send their children outside out to play in home compounds that are congested causing groupings of children.

So I ask are Kenyans intentionally infecting each other with coronavirus and the answer is YES, not only are those posing the risk with the virus intentionally spreading it, those without the virus are ignorantly placing themselves in harm’s way.

Before we can blame the government, what are you as an individual doing to protect yourself and your loved ones or are you worse than the government that allowed a plane with 239 people to arrive in the country and allowed them to spread the virus in the name of self-quarantine?
