Kenya now has 25 confirmed cases of coronavirus and 745 people are currently being quarantined as Kenyans can only hope that the cases will not increase it would grow the likely-hood of infections.
The government through the guidance of Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe has set aside a number of quarantine centres.
The quarantine centres are to help isolate those likely to be infected with Coronavirus as they have travelled from epicentres of the deadly virus.
Unfortunately, the reality of the magnitude of the loss of life caused by coronavirus is yet to dawn on the majority of Kenyans as they can be spotted crowded and strolling.
Health CS Mutahi Kagwe has noted with disappointment the high level of indiscipline amongst Kenyans especially parents who picked their children from schools only to expose them to open the neighbourhoods.
Those to be in quarantine are to stay there for 14 days during which, in the scenario, they have coronavirus, the disease takes to hibernate and become symptomatic.
