Re-Direct Your Money,Prayers To DJ Evolve-Netizens To Babu Owino

“I will donate 50 percent of my salary to help fight coronavirus,” was a statement by Embakasi East Member of Parliament Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino that should have forever remained unsaid.

The statement by the Embakasi member of Parliament has elicited all the pain and angry emotions from Kenyans as they told off Babu Owino and asked him to redirect his charity to DJ Evolve.

Babu Owino was caught by cameras drawing a gun in B Club in Westlands and shooting DJ Evolve without any physical provocation and was later seen in the video carrying the hurt DJ.

Babu Owino was arrested in the wee hours of Friday morning, 17^th January 2020 after the incident that left DJ Evolve in Nairobi Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

Babu Owino denied having shot DJ Evolve despite a CCTV footage showing otherwise which earned a thorough reprimand from members of the public both locally and internationally.

In the video, Babu Owino was seen holding what seemed to be a Shisha pot which had been declared illegal a year or so before the incident but the law overlooked it.

Babu Owino was seen in a club at hours the club was not supposed to be operating and despite him holding a public office, that too was overlooked.

On the 29th of January 2020, the Director of Public Investigations announced that he would be revisiting the case of Embakasi East Member of Parliament, Babu Owino’s ruling which had involved the shooting of DJ Evolve.

“We are going for a revision, we have agreed as DPP, and we have also written to the JSC to complain, because of that ruling… I mean, I cannot fathom it,” said DDP Haji.

DDP Haji expressed his displeasure on how Babu Owino’s ruling was made adding that he had written to the Judiciary Service Commission (JSC) to complain, Babu’s bail was later to be trimmed to half, 5 million shillings.

It is in that anger of denied justice that Kenyans could not accept the charity by Babu terming its hypocrisy and requesting him to pray for DJ Evolve to survive the attempt on his life and redirect his charity to footing his hospital bill.
