Tuskys Limits Purchase Of Hand Sanitizers To 3 Per Customer

Tuskys Supermarket will not be selling more than three hand sanitizers per customer to ensure that “other customers don’t miss out.”

The announcement by Tuskys comes few days after Kenyans went on a shopping spree, wiping off the shelves hand sanitizers immediately the first case of Coronavirus was confirmed in Kenya.

Already there is a shortage of hand sanitizers in major retail shops in Kenya with the government warning businesses against exploiting Kenyans.

Tuskys says allowing unlimited purchase might see some customers buying in bulk so that they can resell to others at prices more than 200 percent of the original purchase.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has warned businesses against raising prices of commodities with an intention of exploiting Kenyans.
