Beware Of Poisonous Food Donations From Kenyan Politicians

Several people have been hospitalized in Kikuyu after they consumed relief food allegedly donated by the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, William Ruto together with the area Member of Parliament, Kimani Ichung’wa.

A section of locals has confirmed that indeed the food was given to them by the area MP and that some of them fell ill immediately after partaking the food.

Monday saw thousands 0f locals who had received the relief food returning it to offices of their local chiefs for it to be destroyed and to prevent more people from consuming it.

Both the Deputy President and the area MP have distanced themselves from the poisonous food. They say that their opponents branded the poisoned food to make it look like it was from the Deputy President then distributed it to hungry locals.

They will kill us to gain

The issue of poisonous food in Kikuyu has now been turned into a blame game. DP Ruto’s camp is blaming President Uhuru’s camp for distributing the poisonous food, branded like DP Ruto in order to pin him to any harm that might befall the people.

President Uhuru’s camp, on the other hand, is blaming DP Ruto’s camp for knowingly distributing poisoned food to locals, knowing very well that they were hungry and needed the food.

In Kenyan politics, anything is possible. It is possible that opponents to Deputy President William Ruto are distributing poisonous food for people to die so that they can blame it on Deputy President. In other words, our politicians do not care whether people die or live, what they care about is getting those political positions.

To Kenyan politician, a common Kenyan is just collateral damage. We are cockroaches to them, only beneficial during the voting time and now that they can win elections without votes, they do not give a damn if we die or live.

Politics in Kenya are always messy, noisy, and have casualties. Unfortunately, the casualties are the common people who have nobody in higher places.

We are now between Coronavirus, thieves, and murderers

Currently Kenyans are screwed. They are between a rock and a hard place. They are faced with the deadly Covid-19, thieves, and looters of public resources and now murderers who want to face them off the face of Kenya by giving them poisonous food.
