Residents have blamed the building’s poor foundation and workmanship on the deadly collapse saying the storied residential building is built on a sinking pit.
Neighbors who gathered around the collapsed building reported that they had heard voices of people calling out for help from the rubbles.
Tebs View Court has 6 two-bedroomed houses according to neighbors and the residents had begun to notice signs of a likely collapse and had even reported to the owner.
It is reported that the Tebs View Court tenants were demanding to be evacuated by the building’s owner which is why the collapse found them still in the poorly constructed houses.
