2 Staff Members At KBC Test Positive Of Covid-19

In a memo released on Monday, KBC managing director, Dr.Naim Bilal said that two of his staff have tested positive of COVID-19.

“…it has emerged that two of our staff have tested positive for COVID-19. While appropriate protocols have been activated to prevent infection from the affected staff, the situation calls for enhanced personal responsibility within and outside BH to protect ourselves, colleagues, families, and others,” he said.

Dr.Naim Bilal said that the broadcaster implemented a range of control measures for its staff which included setting up 40 hand washing and 25 sanitization points.

KBC MD has however reassured the other staff to remain calm as their wellbeing is to be catered for appropriately. He added that new regulations have been implemented to ensure that no other staff tests positive going forward.

“In this regard, you are reminded to fully comply with all Government’s and our own corporate regulations on COVID-19. Importantly, we must wear our masks regularly at all times at BH and public places, wash or sanitize our hands and observe social-distancing.”

KBC’s Naim Bilal urged the rest of the staff workers that came in to contact with the infected staff members to test for the COVID-19 and go into self-isolation.

The MD further advised all those who may feel unwell to seek medical attention as soon as possible as they comply with the company’s and government’s corporate regulations.
