309 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in 24 hours are Kenyans wait on President Uhuru Kenyatta to give the way forward on Monday.
The confirmed cases now brings the total number of confirmed cases to 7,886 after a total of 4,228 samples tested in 24 hours. The total number of samples tested is at 189,263.
The Ministry has discharged 51 patients taking the total number of recoveries to 2,287. The number of fatalities stands at 160 after one more death on Saturday night.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to address the nation on Monday. Kenyans are expecting him to open up the economy that has already been hit hard by the sweeping pandemic.
