Huge balls of fire is destroying thousands of acres of vegetation at Tsavo West National Park. The fire started on Tuesday evening coming barely a month after a similar incident was reported in the area.
The fire had started at Lualenyi Ranch that neighbors Tsavo West National Park and spread into the protected area
According to the statement sent by the Kenya Wildlife Service on Thursday Morning, three sets of the fire were reported at the Tsavo Conservation Area.
Efforts by the ranch and Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) rangers to contain the huge blaze were thwarted by strong winds that spread flames rapidly to dry vegetation.

According to the sources, the government had deployed resources to respond to the incidents but efforts to get official information for Kenya Wildlife Service were not Successful.
The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk, and the prolific birdlife features 500 recorded species.
KWS rangers and the ranch staff were working on containing the fires as of Thursday morning amid reports that a third fire broke out in Kikunduki part of Chyulu National park around 7:30 on Wednesday.
Tsavo has so far seen a record of three fire incidents in a span of three months. In May an inferno destroyed more than 4,000 acres of vegetation in Tsavo East. A month later another fire consumed over 180 acres of the conservation area.
