Mary Akoth is a mother of two. Her life was all good and amazing and devoted it to taking care of her two kids until cancer came knocking at her door. Since then, her life took a different turn and she has never known peace.
Mary has breast cancer that has plunged her into an ocean of untold pain that has left her and her family drained both psychologically and financially.
Given her financially-challenged background, Mary has been struggling to access treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital. She has failed to access chemotherapy on several occasions for lack of funds.
She comes from Kayole, Nairobi. She is currently at home, confined on her bed, praying and hoping for any well-wisher who will come her way and help her out. She is in dire need of your help.
Her treatment cost now stands at 500,000 shillings and her family has hit a dead-end. Her two kids need her and it pains her that she can no longer be there for them.
