Kenyans will be unable to access M-PESA services for at least 5 hours starting Thursday night according to a statement from the giant telecommunications company, Safaricom.
Safaricom says it will be undertaking a routine maintenance of its systems from 11:59 pm on Thursday (tonight) to 5:00 am on Friday.
During the maintenance period, all M-PESA service including airtime purchase will be unavailable.
“We wish to apologize for any inconvenience that may be caused and thank you for your continued support,” said Safaricom in a statement.
