Kwamboka’s Birth Cert Implicating CJ Maraga Is Fake – Lawyer Omari

Chief Justice David Maraga’s lawyer Danston Omari has poured water on Mary Kwamboka’s story that the CJ is a dead beat father to her alleged 6-year-old daughter.

Mary Kwamboka who caused drama as she shouted to the top of her lungs that CJ Maraga had abducted his fatherly duties to their 6-year-old alleged daughter is now faced with charges as Maraga’s lawyers have said they will be writing to the Director of Criminal Investigations.

“No registrar of births in Kenya goes by the name Chamwada and there has never been an officer called N.P Otieno in the Nairobi office as is indicated on the birth certificate,” lawyer Danston Omari has said noting that the names of the officials on the birth certificate are fictitious and the documented has been generated and cannot be relied on.

“There has been intense pressure for CJ Maraga to resign before his term ends on 10th January 2021 and this was occasioned by the executive’s refusal to appoint 41 judges yet the CJ maintained it was either the 41 judges get appointed or nothing,” Maraga’s lawyer Dan Omari said.

“Posters have even been placed on Thika road to the effect that CJ Maraga is having love affairs with judges to pressure him into resigning but he has remained firm,” Dan Omari said.

CJ Maraga’s lawyer has also revealed that there is a pending petition for the removal of the CJ Judiciary Service Commissioner (JSC) and the recent dramas were simply to throw unwarranted shade on the country’s CJ.
