Kenya has so far lost 382 people to Covid-19 according to stats by the Ministry of Health. In the last 24 hours, 13 Kenyans have succumbed to the virus as the Ministry tells Kenyans to expect the worst in the coming days.
The Ministry says the number of deaths has been rising with each passing day and called on Kenyans to remain vigilant. According to health officials, it is worrying that some of the deaths are from people who do not have any pre-existing conditions.
At the same time, 544 people have tested positive in 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases now stands at 22,597 in an announcement made by Health CAS Rashid Aman.

A total of 263 patients have recovered from the virus and discharged from various hospitals around the country. The total number of recoveries now stands at 8,740.
From the cases, 499 are Kenyans while 45 are foreigners. 315 males and 229 females. The youngest case is a one-year-old infant, while the oldest is 84 years according to CAS Dr. Rashid Aman.
263 more patients have recovered from the disease. From this number 176 are from the Home based Care program while 87 have been discharged from various hospitals, bringing the total number of recoveries to 8,740.
