On Wednesday, February 10, 2021, Absa Bank Kenya marked one year since rebranding from Barclays Bank Kenya in a colorful ceremony held at their Queensway branch presided over by the bank’s Managing Director Jeremy Awori.
Absa Bank Kenya embarked on a brand transition four years ago and set out to fully transform the business into a truly customer-obsessed organization; one that puts the customer at the center of all decisions, propositions, and initiatives.
As a way to appreciate society and empower them, the bank launched the “Wall of Possibilities,” for people who have any ideas that we can help bring to life for the community at large.
Today marks 1 year since we rebranded to Absa Bank Kenya. As we celebrate, we invite you to write down an idea that could benefit your community, post it as a reply to this Tweet using #WallOfPossibility to be added to our mosaic, and we will consider it for funding. pic.twitter.com/6U2uhlbG7p

“If you have any great idea, visit our Queensway Branch and pin it on the Wall of Possibilities. If you are not in Nairobi, we will have a digital Wall of Possibilities too,” said the lender while marking the official opening of the newly refurbished Queensway branch.
This programme gives you a unique opportunity to pin an idea on our wall of possibilities which will be hosted here at our Queensway branch and our online platforms and we may choose to partner with you to make it a reality. #WeAreOneWithYou pic.twitter.com/q7JulIwo02

The Wall of Possibilities will be hosted at Absa Bank’s Queensway branch. Basically, both customers and noncustomers with ideas they feel can impact the lives of other people, will have to write them down, go to the branch and pin them on the wall.
Those not in Nairobi will have an opportunity to pin their ideas via social media through the Absa Bank Kenya handles. The bank will then go through the ideas and pick on some that will partner with to make them come to life.
According to Mr. Jeremy Awori, the Wall of Possibilities will be an opportunity for the bank to partners with Kenyans of goodwill to help other Kenyans empower themselves by enabling them to have access to such things as health, education among others.
“As a business, we are committed to supporting women in business particularly those in the SME sector, with a campaign that we hope to run across the entire Sub Saharan Africa,” said Mr. Awori.
