She is the most discreet wife in the football world and yet without her Mo Salah couldn’t have so good. How did Magi Salah conquer the heart of one of the best players in the world?
You know the saying behind every success of a man there stands a great woman. Georgina for Cristiano Ronaldo, Antonella for Lionel Messi, Shakira for Gerrard Pique. They are always incredible women who support the most successful players but Magi Salah is not a typical footballer’s wife.
Footballers’ wives normally like to post on social media and love to give interviews but Magi is incredibly mysterious. He appeared in public four times. We’ve seen her twice at the end-of-season ceremony in England. Notably, the one in which Salah won the golden boot. The other two times she was seen in public was in the Liverpool stands at Anfield during the now-legendary Liverpool Barcelona game won 4 nil by the reds.

Salah and Magi got married in 2013 when Mo was playing for Basel in Switzerland. They met at school as they were teenagers and lived in the same village in Egypt. Their love has lasted a test of time and Mo’s popularity has changed nothing. Today Magi works in Biotechnology impressive. She is a good woman with a big heart which is why Salah loves her very much. Family is extremely important for him but he wants to protect his loved ones from the Camera. The couple are also connected by their faith which is Islam. They are both devoted Muslims which is why they call their daughter Makkah, a holy city for Muslims.
Makkah melted the hearts of football fans when she came to the pitch alongside her father at the end of the season. Magi and Makkah are grounding for Mo Salah. Magi helps salah to keep his head on his shoulders like during good times like when Salah was untouchable for Liverpool last season. She is his biggest supporter and helps him cope when things get tough. That’s true love. She also supports him with his charity projects. It is spurring that with such a generous partner Salah visited a homeless person who wanted to steal from him.
‘Mohammed has always been a pure human being since he was young. When he was 10 and was training at the local in the village. There was a dog with puppies surrounding the training ground. Salah brought food every day to feed the puppies. He was always like that. He has a big heart and loves to give.’ Hamdi Noor, His first coach via BBC sport in 2016.
Mo Salah is simple, generous, humble, and discrete and Magi is exactly the same. Birds of the same feather stick together
