Professor George Magoha has finally released the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results with the first candidate scoring 433 marks out of the 500 marks.
Professor Magoha said that all candidates who sat the KCPE exams will be allowed to proceed to Form one as per the government’s policy of 100 percent transition.

- Wesonga Nansala – 432 marks
- Murithi Angel – 432 marks
- Wanyonyi Samuel – 431 marks
- Castro Williams – 431 marks
- Maureen Tarus Chepkemboi – 431 marks
- Abiud Kipkurui – 430 marks
- Margaret Mwangi – 430 marks
- Dennis Omondi – 429 marks
- Joyce Nkatha – 429 marks
Form one selection for the 2020/2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) candidates will be conducted from May 28, 2021, according to Education CS Professor George Magoha.
Speaking during the release of this year’s KCPE results, Magoha said that 5 cases of impersonation were reported during the process while 7 candidates were found with pre-prepaid notes.
Checking the results
To check the results for KCPE 2020/21 online, go to the K.N.E.C website http://www.knec.ac.ke/ and enter your Index number.
To check your KCPE (class of 2020-2021) results by SMS send an SMS with your Index Number to 20076 from Safaricom, Airtel, or Telkom.
School Headmasters will collect the results from the sub-county education offices for the candidates to finally collect them in the education centers. They can also access the KCPE results portal from this link http://www.knec-portal.ac.ke/
