The Public Service Commission (PSC) has launched a call for applications for six vacancies with salaries ranging from 547,000 shillings basic salary monthly.
According to a notice published in local dailies on Thursday, June 3, the commission revealed that the vacancies were all at Chuka University located along Nairobi Meru Highway as well as Turkana and Koitalel Samoei University Colleges.
There are two slots at Turkana University College, the principal, and his deputy, where the former will make between 336,478 shillings and 547,106 shillings basic monthly salary. His deputy is expected to make between 325,099 shillings and 490,729 shillings.
Applicants are required to send their application for the two positions, both electronically and manually before June 22, 2021.
Successful applicants for the Principal position will be entitled to a Ksh82,000 house allowance while his deputy will receive 76,000 shillings.

At Koitalel Samoei University College, the vacancy has been laid out for a principal and his deputy with the same terms as the aforementioned.
Chuka University is seeking to fill up the positions of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration and Finance) as well as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Planning, and Development.
In both positions, successful applicants stand to pocket between Ksh336,478 and Ksh470,711 basic salaries and an additional Ksh82,000 housing allowance. The application process for the two slots is open till June 22, 2021.
Requirements
According to the Commission indicated that all the names of qualified candidates will be published on its website upon the completion of the first phase of the exercise.
During the application, participants are expected to provide a national identity card, academic documents as well as clearance certificates from various bodies.
The applicants are also be expected to get clearance from Kenya Revenue Authority, Higher Education Loans Board, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) as well as clearance from the Credit Reference Bureau (CRBs).
