List Of Health Facilities For Free Covid-19 Vaccine In Nairobi

The Ministry of Health has released a list of health facilities in Nairobi that are offering free Covid-19 vaccines to Kenyans. Kenyans have been encouraged to take up the jab as the Delta Variant of the virus continues to sweep across the country.

Covid-19 Update

On Thursday, 1,571 people tested positive for the Covid-19, from a sample size of 9,065 tested in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate is now 17.3%. Total confirmed positive cases are now 208,262 & cumulative tests so far conducted are 2,166,046.

Nairobi County led in terms of cases on Thursday registering 605 followed by Kiambu with 187. Mombasa, Nakuru, and Nyeri had 101, 82, and 77 respectively while Kilifi, Kirinyaga, and Uasin Gishu had 51, 50, and 43 respectively.

At the same time, 4,497 patients recovered from the virus with 4,335 being on home-based care. 162 were from various health facilities. Total recoveries now stand at 195,685 out of which 156,769 are from home-based care.

32 patients died from the virus, 3 of them in the last 24 hours to Thursday while 29 were recorded in the past 3 months. 1,618 patients are admitted to various hospitals countrywide. 4,187 are under home-based care.

A total of 112 patients ate under the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 43 of whom are on ventilatory support and 61 on supplementary oxygen. 8 patients are under observation.
