Fans of the WWE can gear up for another thrilling week of action on SuperSport, with live airings of the NXT, SmackDown, and Raw shows running from Wednesday 20 to Tuesday 26 October 2021.
SuperSport is your #HomeOfSport and the only place to see all your favorites from the WWE Universe!
The action begins on the morning of Wednesday 20 October with WWE NXT Episode 639. The tag team of Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta have set their sights on gold after making a big splash on NXT in recent weeks.
“Indi Hartwell, Persia Pirotta coming for the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles,” said Pirotta. “Io [Shirai] and Zoey [Stark] better watch their backs, because we have the ambition to become the next holders of those belts.”
Saturday 23 October brings Episode 1157 of WWE SmackDown. Shinsuke Nakamura has recently gone by the moniker ‘King Nakamura’ – after taking the crown off ‘King Corbin’ – but he has now ‘abdicated’ his crown in respect for the ongoing King of the Ring competition.
“A new King of the Ring will be crowned in a few weeks,” said Nakamura. “I respect the King of the Ring tournament, and I’ve proven myself as a king. Because of that, I am giving up my crown, so you will no longer call me ‘King Nakamura’… but you can call me the Intercontinental Champion!”
Tuesday 26 October will feature Episode 1483 of WWE Raw. Seth Rollins, following his epic rivalry with Edge on the blue brand, has been drafted to Raw and is delighted to be back as the ‘Monday Night Messiah’.
“I’m back, baby!” explained Rollins. “And guess what the best part is? I’m better than I’ve ever been! I don’t give a sh** who steps up to me, because I am on another level, I am a visionary! I am a revolutionary! I am Seth Freakin’ Rollins!”
Now GOtv viewers can also enjoy some world-class WWE action every Wednesday evening on SuperSport GOtv Select3, with a past Pay-Per-View (17:00), WWE 205 (21:00), and a documentary (21:30).
