Andrew Mutiso Musau, a man believed to have killed his wife after finding her with another man has surrendered to the police.
Musau, 28, a Machakos resident reportedly stabbed her six times before fleeing the scene.
Shocked by the horrifying scene, neighbors who were privy to the heated scuffle that had earlier on ensued between Mutiso and his wife alerted the police of the body.
After disappearing on October 21 after the incident, Musau showed up at Athi River police station accompanied by two of his brothers.
A manhunt for Mutiso had been launched after his wife’s dead body was found in their house by concerned Nyumba Kumi members, two days after she went missing.
Crime scene detectives from Kitengela processed the scene before the body was moved to a local hospital morgue for autopsy. As further investigations continue, the suspect is being processed for arraignment over murder charges.
