As Kenyans were busy complaining about the increased bus fares from Nairobi to other parts of the country, Jack Siro had other plans; he was going to ride his bike from Nairobi to Kisii for Christmas celebrations.
You probably spent a lot of cash and time travelling upcountry. For me I rode my roadbike from Nairobi to Kisii covering 310kms in under 13 hrs. The well planned road trip started at 4am and ended at 7pm. pic.twitter.com/c1doRnNa0c

The man covered at least 310 kilometers and he says he took at least 13 hours. That is one hour less than the time the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) takes from Nairobi to Kisumu. At the same time, Jack Siro also rode back to Nairobi from Kisii.
This week I decided to ride back to Nrb. Leaving Kisii Highlands was not easy for the tough elevation there. Also towards Sotik it was freezing and foggy. Into Mulot, Narok, all the way to Maai Mahiu it was pure torture fighting tough headwinds pic.twitter.com/sqYt7KYcSR
