Vicmass Luodollar popularly known for his hit song ‘Bank Otuch featuring rapper Octopizzo canceled a show worth 700,000 shillings because they misspelled his name.
During a recent interview with a local publication, the artist said they had made an ugly poster and they had written his name Vicmass with only one ‘s ‘instead of two ‘s’.
“The name has a meaning and my second name Luodollar is one word, so if you write it badly and I tell you to correct it and you fail to do so, then KES 700K is not a lot of money compared to my name’’ He added.
During the interview, he narrated the hardships he had gone through to make it in the Music Industry.
“I went to KBC, KISS FM and would drop compact discs at the reception. One thing that broke my heart was while I was submitting my song called ‘Pesa’ I found my other song in the dustbin at the radio station’’ he said.
He also shared about how he was Famous and still broke; he would hawk biscuits and sweets on the streets just to make end meets.
Despite all the struggles to make it in the Music industry, he managed to become successful and he will go all the way to protect his name and brand.
