In a shocking defilement trend that has continued to rock Makueni County, a man reported to have sodomized his 12-year-old stepson on the night of 6th January, 2022 in Kibwezi has been arrested.
Benjamin Kavindu Mwania, 35, was arrested within Miangeni shopping center, moments after the class seven boy studying at a local school reported his dad’s nauseating act. Narrating his ordeal to officers at Ulilinzi police post, the juvenile explained how the one man he believed was a loving dad treated him to a sumptuous dinner before he turned against him.
Kavindu is said to have made his stepson share a bed with him, only to force himself into the innocent boy against the order of nature. The suspect had then ordered the boy to shower immediately, threatening him not to tell anyone.

On 8th January 2022, afternoon, the boy opened up to his mother who was away on the fateful night, who escorted his son to make a formal report with the police. A manhunt for the savage step-dad was immediately launched, where he was trailed to Miangeni and netted.
Meanwhile, the boy was rushed to a local hospital for examination and treatment. This incest incident on a minor came barely four days after a similar case was reported in the same Kibwezi Sub-county, where a man defiled his 11-year-old daughter at a pathway along Mikuyuni Teachers area. Appropriate charges have since been preferred against both suspects.
