Commercial Banks in Kenya were on Thursday buying the US Dollar at an average of 119.80 shillings and selling it at 120.0 shillings with a mean across all commercial banks standing at 119.90 shillings to the dollar.
Banks were buying the Sterling Pound at 141.57 shillings and selling it at 141.85 shillings with a mean of 141.71 shillings across all banks.
Banks were selling the Euro at 119.71 shillings after buying it at 119.47 shillings
Closer home, the shilling was being bought at 31.54 Ugandan shillings and sold at 31.67 Ugandan shillings. Meanwhile, 19.39 Tanzanian shillings were enough to buy a Kenyan shilling and 19.05 while selling.
